Gracious Grounds Celebrity Golf Outing in Partnership with Eye Care One
Monday, July 27th at Spring Lake Country Club
17496 N. Fruitport Rd. Spring Lake, MI 49456
Please join us in welcoming Amy Bockerstette, an American collegiate golfer and disabilities advocate with Down syndrome, at our Celebrity Golf Outing! Amy is the first person with Down syndrome to receive an athletic scholarship to attend college. As a representative of Special Olympics Arizona, Amy was invited by the PGA Tour to play the par-3 16th hole at TCP Scottsdale with professional golfer Gary Woodland and playing partner Matt Kucher during a Tuesday practice round at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. After hitting her tee shot into a green side bunker, Amy parred the hole in front of a roaring crowd, stating “I got this!” The video capturing the moment has since gone viral, receiving 43 million views across various social media platforms.
All proceeds raised from this event will directly benefit Gracious Grounds and support their mission to provide housing opportunities to individuals with unique abilities.
